L’équipe de La Belle Histoire est tout simplement géniale et offre un service exceptionnel. Ils font toujours preuve d'une grande implication pour que notre expérience soit des plus agréables. Chacune de nos visites est une belle expérience tant au niveau humain que culinaire. Chapeau à Sophie, Geneviève, Jean-Sébastien et à toute l’équipe.

So the service was absolutely lovely, the decor beautiful, and several dishes were amazing (the ravioli with romesco sauce, the braised mushrooms) but one of the mains was completely bland and underwhelming (a cod filet) and other dishes (the cod fritters, the tuna appetizer) were just ok. The main reason for 3 stars is essentially the fact that we had equal or much better meals for half the price at other lovely restaurants in the Laurentides. I think our bill at Bistro Lounge Garçons in nearby Saint Adele was half but we enjoyed the wine and food slightly more. You’ll come here and have a nice meal and experience, but I think you’ll pay twice what you would pay for equally good meals in the laurentides.

Second time we have come here. Once the full tasting menu, and the second time a-la-carte. Both times the meals were exceptional, balanced and delicious. The service is amazing, both times I had changed made for my lactose intolerance. The table service was above and beyond both times. Will come back for sure for special occasions!

My wife and I had a memorable experience, our intuition led us to book at this restaurant and fortunately we followed our intuition.

We were welcomed at the bar and shared a fantastic cocktail. We were then brought to our table for an extraordinary dinner. Extraordinary food with exceptional and courteous service.

We visited the kitchen and shared the vision of the restaurant with the sommelier and Sophie the owner.

We will definitely repeat the experience

Incredible experience. Welcoming (including our 5 month old baby who was happily asleep for the duration of our meal) and warm. Impeccable tasting menu - surprising, fresh, and creative. Excellent choice of wine by Sophie. A big thank you to the whole team for a memorable evening!

Sublime address in the Laurentians. The menu is worthy of a very large restaurant in town. Book to be sure of having a table, it's no longer a secret, this place is very coveted. The dishes are delicious and the service impeccable! The bill is steep but the products are quality. Absolutely worth trying!

This restaurant is exceptional! My husband and I and our two closest friends had dinner here during our vacation in the Laurentiens - it was a meal and evening we will never forget! The ambiance and service were outstanding- and every bite of food was better than the next. It was a truly special experience at La Belle Histoire. Highly, highly recommend!

We had such an amazing food and wine experience at La Belle Histoire. A great surprise. Excellent wine suggestions from the sommelier, Melissa, and perfect pairing. Food (local ingredients) was excellent,as was the overall service. We can’t wait to return. Merci!

Extraordinary!!! Everything was perfect! The welcome, the service and the delicious and original dishes.
We had the tasting menu, no disappointment. We also had the pleasure of chatting with Sophie who told us the history (and what a beautiful story ?) of this restaurant. I take my hat off to this young owner couple, who dared to start a business, in an environment that is not always easy and outside the major centers.
We wish this jewel a long life!!

We planned our entire trip to the Quebec region because of this Restaurant, drove in from NYC. After meeting the owners, Sophie & Etienne at a restaurant in Manhattan and learned they have a quaint French restaurant an hour outside of Montreal, we planned the trip. The staff, atmosphere, food, and of course the wine was nothing short of amazing. They take pride in their work and food but do not take themselves too seriously. Absolutely worth it.
