We recently celebrated our son’s baptism at Trattoria La Strada, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Weeks before the event, we met with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Together, we planned a custom fixed menu that fit our budget. The meal started with shared platters of pizza and charcuterie, followed by a pasta course, and then veal with vegetables. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
On the day of the event, the service was impeccable. Our private area was cozy and intimate, perfect for our group of 35 people. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring glasses were always full and attending to every detail. They even accommodated special requests, like steamed vegetables and softer, overcooked pasta for our son.
We brought our own desserts, and the team surprised us by adding a complimentary fruit platter, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
Overall, everything about Trattoria La Strada—from the food to the service to the personal touches—was exceptional. I highly recommend it for any celebration or special event!

The service is excellent, the young Italian is extra smiley and friendly, the food is good but nothing exceptional. On Tuesdays there is a deal on pizzas, it's worth it. Otherwise, it's a semi-affordable Italian restaurant, family style, but definitely more worth it than other more commercialized chains like Mikes or Pacini. Really better option than a spag with Classico sauce that you make at home, but much less elaborate than several other more upscale restaurants where there is concern for the final product. A good one in between.

Very nice, nice service, it’s very cozy and there’s an interesting choice of alcoholic drinks to accompany your meals!
The portions are abundant for the price, share a single dish between two people if you are less greedy ;)
The food itself? Excellent. I highly recommend it, it prepares and cooks like little nuggets of paradise and the menu is well stocked with options.
For me the only weak point is probably not really related to the restaurant as such but I prefer to mention it. If you want to spend a more cozy evening, take a table less close to the terrace. I don't know if it was just the times I went but I have the impression that hot people are always talking loudly on the terrace. Also, shout out to that same server who always makes me feel judged because I try to pronounce the names of dishes correctly in Italian?
In short, excellent restaurant! I recommend 100%!

Parking: It’s old Ste-Thérèse, pay attention to the parking signs and it’s normal that it’s crowded sometimes! :)

The service was excellent. The correct meal, nothing more. But…the smell! When we arrived it was unpleasant and we couldn't figure out where it came from... a smell of sewage which seemed to be familiar because we saw a waiter walking around with a disinfectant... we left immediately after the meal without question. linger over a digestive or dessert. I would have liked to mention it and I should have but I'm sure they know.
I went this evening with my mother and wow, I really fell in love with it!! The Caesar salad is delicious, the pizza is to die for and the chocolate rock cake is yum!
The employees are welcoming, friendly and very efficient! I have rarely had exemplary service like this! I'll come back for sure :)

Nice place, cozy & clean. Pretty busy when we came (Tuesday at 8:30pm). They have all pizzas for 15$ on Tuesdays. Pizzas were good but not exceptional.

Je suis allée ce soir avec ma mère et wow un gros coup de cœur !! La salade César est un délice , la pizza est à tomber par terre et le gâteau rocher chocolat miam!
Les employés sont accueillants amicaux et très efficaces! J’ai rarement eu un service exemplaire comme celui ci ! Je vais revenir c’est certain :)
