Went to have breakfast on a Sunday morning with my mom. She had eggs benedict and I had the "gourmand" platter. The food was well made, and actually hot (which seems rare now for breakfast places) but the service was incredibly slow. We waited easily a half hour to get a coffee refilled, my mom ordered a tea that never actually came...

My recent culinary escapade at Ben & Florentine in Valleyfield proved to be a most satisfying taste experience, bathed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.I opted for the Ben & Florentine Poutine, a choice that proved to be a real delight for the taste buds. The perfectly cooked potatoes, combined with the three exquisite meats – ham, bacon and sausage – created a harmonious and comforting blend of flavors.However, on the service side, some imperfections should be noted....
