Wow this little gem was hidden from view. We found it by chance due to construction on Hwy 30 we took an earlier exit and wanted to stop for coffee and a bite. Let me tell you the roast beef sandwich on a croissant was the best I ever had. Had a cappuccino and strawberry shortcake afterwards. So much for a small bite but it was delicious. Everything is homemade and you can tell. Try it looks can be deceiving. Merci Normandie!

Such a great discovery this morning! My partner and I took a few steps upon entering, and everything that followed was more than perfect until we left. A warm and cheerful welcome and service, delicious and fresh pastries/sandwiches and coffee, very affordable prices, relaxing music and a cute place with a beautiful view of the canal as a bonus! We will definitely be back very very soon!

We came across this little cafe by chance. The croissants were just out of the oven, classical music playing in the background with a view of the old canal and the bay! The coffee was excellent and great service from the owner!! A place to know!

Delicious coffee and croissant at a very reasonable price. The owners come from Normandy which gives a unique touch to this place in the heart of Valleyfield. Enjoyed chatting with the owner while enjoying my breakfast.
