Restaurant Zélé

Fantastic find. We are from Montreal and came to Shawinigan /Grand Mere for the weekend because our father is from here. I looked up the best rated restaurant I could find in the area, and Restaurant Zele in St. Flore came up.
I have to describe it as on par with top Montreal restaurants. It's not as creative as Vin Mon Lapin or Le Violon, but it's close. The quality of the food is fantastic and equal to those restaurants. The ambiance is amazing. Highly recommended if you are in the area, and if not it is worth the detour.

What a selight to find a 5 star resto in a small charming suburb of Shawinigan. The chef made a dpecial meal to accommodate my allergy. The service was genisk, efficient and so personal.

Everything was excellent. Impeccable welcome, service and atmosphere. The dishes are delicious and prepared with care. The menu changes often, as they use local, seasonal produce. Congratulations to the whole team for your work!! I recommend without hesitation ?

Excellent! Everything is worth trying. The famous garlic fries, the perfect arancino, wow cooking and steak without forgetting the homemade ice cream ??

Great service, beautiful presentation and very nice wine list and choice of cocktails (in addition to beers!)

Warm restaurant with a unique historical character and decoration as zealous as everything else.

If you're lucky, you'll see an artistic piano performance or a magical late-night moment that only those who were there can understand?

We've been wanting to try it for a long time and hearing good things about it. There were 4 of us, and we all agreed. The place is very good, the taste was ok, nothing more, but what was really disappointing was the quantities for the price. We were all still hungry after eating our meals, the portions were tiny. We had to order bread at the end to fill us up a little.

The latest reviews of the restaurant being a bit old, we went there with a little apprehension, but it was a superb discovery. Last day before our return to France, we want a meal a little lighter than what Quebec gastronomy offers ☺️ We were not disappointed: - a varied cocktail menu - wine by the glass - tasty and balanced dishes. - the menu is varied enough for everyone to find something (trout, duck, beef, lobster, etc.) - lovely service - original and pleasant decor A beautiful address that we recommend.

An excellent taste experience, beautiful atmosphere, Joëlle and the whole team do a great job. Don't miss the black garlic fries.
