I'm celiac, which means I'm allergic to gluten. It makes my belly bloat, and my body reacts via inflammation, and it hurts. I asked them if they had anything gluten-free. They replied they had gluten-free bread and wraps. So I ordered the gluten-free CHICKEN CEASAR WRAP. I first ordered it with mashed potatoes... in which the waitress came back and informed me that they would take too long to make... so I got fries instead. My wrap comes, and I take my first bite and I chewed right into a wrap FULL OF CRUTONS, dried old unseasoned chicken, and hardly any ceasar dressing on my wrap. I told them there was croutons so I kindly asked them to just take it back and I wouldn't need anything else from them as the fries were also coated in batter. She says she'll try again.. so they did and it was just leaves and dressing ONLY (NO CHICKEN IN A CHICKEN CEASAR) SHE LOOKS AT ME AND SAYS... WELL YOU DIDN'T SPECIFY... I SAID CHICKEN ISNT GLUTEN SHE SAYS NO ITS NOT. SHE TELLS ME I'M CONFUSING HER WITH ALL MY STUPID GLUTEN FREE STUFF I usually tip... 20% all regular service and 25% great service. They got NOTHING. THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME IN SHAWVILLE.. WHAT A JOKE! HOW YOU GET ANY GOOD REVIEWS IS BEYOND ME! I WILL BE SURE TO RIP YOUR NAME APART EVERY SINGLE CHANCE I GET ON ALL THE PLATFORMS. MY ALLERGY ISN'T UP FOR YOUR ABUSE! I SHOULD CHARGE YOU FOR TRICKING ME INTO EATING BREAD! HORRIBLE TREATMENT I SHOULD FILE A REPORT! I FELT SO BAD AFTER THIS PLACE

The food is good, but the waitresses rushed my family out and was not very kind they didn't smile once, looked like they were forced.

We waited a very long time to have even our drink order taken. The staff was friendly but not motivated. The food was ok. The gravy was a strange consistency but the smoked meat sandwich was ok.

Thanks Jamie for serving us breakfast this morning! Every meal...delicious as usual ? We enjoy every moment of our visit When my husband and I decided to go out for a meal we head for Hursty's! If you happen to be looking for a large mouth watering plate of bacon poutine this is the place it's loaded with what you would expect. The prices are very reasonable ??

Wow! Did Hursty's hire a new cook or something? We dined in on Sunday the 19th and the food was fantastic! And the amount we got was perfect. We complimented the cook, I think her name was Jenni? Our waitress Donna was so nice to us too. WTG ladies on giving us a really great meal.
