I recently visited a Moroccan restaurant, hoping for a pleasant introduction to the cuisine, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. The food itself wasn’t terrible — it was just okay. Nothing stood out in terms of flavor or presentation, and it didn’t spark any curiosity or excitement to explore Moroccan dishes further. In fact, the lackluster quality has discouraged me from trying Moroccan food again anytime soon.
However, what really ruined the experience for me was the attitude of the old man waiter. While he technically remained polite and respectful in his words, his demeanor told a completely different story. He had a constantly frowned face and a cold, unfriendly presence that made it incredibly uncomfortable to even enjoy the meal. It felt as though we were unwelcome guests, and that negative energy was hard to ignore. Even a simple smile or a hint of warmth could have made a difference, but none was offered.
Eating out isn’t just about the food — the overall atmosphere and hospitality matter just as much. Sadly, this restaurant failed to deliver on that front, and it left me with a negative impression that overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I won’t be returning.

At baladi, you'll never leave with an empty stomach. Not only they serve generous portions, but they are also very tasty. As I've already tried their shish taouk Platter, which was good, although the chicken was a bit dry, the tajine was delicious. The plums were the highlight of the dish. Overall, very good quality price. I'll definitely come back.

Very disappointed with the meal. A couscous that tastes nothing except broth, boiled lamb that blends in with beef. As for the royal couscous, the chicken is crumbled chicken. You want real couscous, this is not the place to go!

J’y suis allée dernièrement un vendredi soir. Nous étions 5 personnes au total ds le restaurant. J’ai pris l’assiette Shish Taouk. Le poulet était coupé de façon grossière avec de gros bouts épais. Peu de riz et patates. Humus sec et goût mauvais, pita sec, sec, sec. Et le prix $$$ trop cher pour ce qui avait dans mon assiette.Pour l’ambiance, pas de musique ?Les fausses plantes sales et très vieilles.Plafond en décrépitude. Très déçue de ma dernière visite. ?

Pourquoi ??? ça fait longtemps que je vais au Baladi c'était un de mes restaurants préférés. À quelques reprises, houmous séché et pas de goût, shish taouk avec de gros morceaux de poulet et on dirait que le pita vient des clients d'avant nous. Quelle déception
