I came to work for a couple hours and had brunch while I was there. The food was great, I loved the breakfast burrito. The portion was very generous and filling. I ordered a dirty chai and it was okay. The chai was very subtle. It was a great atmosphere for getting some work done! I really appreciate the decor. There is a parking garage nearby so it was convenient to get to! The prices are fair for the quality and quantity.
We stopped in when passing thru sherbrooke, Didnt know it was vegan. Had the classic pancakes and the burrito. Was delicious!!! Place is a really neatly decorated. Very much enjoyed our breakfast.
My boyfriend and I popped in here on a little overnight trip to Sherbrooke, and we were so impressed with the breakfast here! He got the eggs benedict, and I got the strawberry rhubarb crepe. The breakfast potatoes and aioli are to die for! Coffee was tasty enough. They have so much art for sale on the walls, and plenty of seating. It is table service, but you pay at the counter. Service was great, and lucky for us everyone spoke English and French.
A Discovery for me ! Went for an open mic - was cooler than anticipated. Still haven’t tried the food but I’ve been told it’s delicious .
Atmosphère chouette, monde sympathique, bouffe délicieuse !
Amazing
Good food, would recommend
We were looking for a place to have a vegan lunch in Sherbrooke. Happy cow said café 440 is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but they are actually open, so we almost missed it! So glad we took a chance. It's a hidden gem! The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the choices were perfect for our picky eaters and we tried a variety of options. We'll stop again next time we are in the area. Updated from previous review on 2025-01-30
Seriously sloooowww waiting for our meals. By the way, one coffee and any more is $3:00 per cup!

Great spacious place with vintage decoration and kindly amazing service. Breakfast is out of the ordinary (no bacon) but they make it up with great zucchini/reddish salad finely sliced, a delicious home made jam with baguette and 2 super tasty and light pieces of cheese. Really enjoyable.
It seems they also host events and shows on site. A must come back and recommend.
I liked the place, the atmosphere. Great live band. I just had fries, but they were awesome fries! Servers were very kind, but not very present.
Service was excellent
Excellent restaurant for vegetarian and vegans! Even omnivores will like it. The vibe is great, and the staff is really friendly! Most of the menu can be made vegan, with many options being vegan by default. I love that they have a kid's menu. They also have vegan and gluten-free options, but they are quite limited. I wish there were more options. Pancakes are quite easy to make gluten-free. The coffee and matcha are excellent. Pricing is reasonable as well, which is a plus. It is kid friendly with a changing table and booster seats. The only other thing that would be nice is a desserts menu and/or pastries (vegan/gf) to order or takeout. I will definitely be back!
Really good and tasty food! Nice decor and atmosphere.
