I am a customer from the first hour. I went there more regularly before but I was disappointed every time during my last visits... A soup/salad/sandwich trio costs around $25. (with a tip that you feel obliged to give except that there is no service... you have to go ask for a utensil at the counter, ask for a little butter for your bread or pour yourself a glass of water...) Would it be possible to have your sandwich served on a plate when you eat there? It lacks class and it really feels “canteen” to have your sandwich on a piece of paper, on a plastic tray… It seems to me that at $25 for a lunch, the customers deserve better. A small tip jar is perfectly adequate for counter service, but the fact that the sales terminal is automatically programmed to offer a tip is a bit pretentious. Unless the employees are “tipped” employees and therefore have less $$$ per hour than the minimum wage. At this point, PROVIDE a real and good service that would increase the customer experience.

They don't have gluten free options. In reality the place was full and they didn't feel like doing it. I WENT THREE times and they can never make the sandwich gluten-free. THEY SHOULD TAKE IT OFF THE MENU, shouldn't they? Otherwise it is false advertising, they say they have gluten-free bread and that is not the case. I PLACE one star because it won't let me place ZERO stars, since I couldn't even eat anything, on all three occasions. And I presume about your quality of service because as it is, you put GLUTEN-FREE MENU and you don't always have an excuse.

OF WHICH ONLY THE FIRST COULD EAT A SANDUICH WITHOUT GLUTEN. THE OTHER THREE, nothing, they always have an excuse. Today's is because the girl DIDN'T KNOW how to make gluten-free sandwinch... she could only offer me what was in the window. (a mejunge made into pudding).
I mean THEY DON'T HAVE GLUTEN FREE FOOD 75% OF THE TIMES I WENT.

Lovely little café with homemade pastries and breakfast/lunches. Also has many different handcrafted goods for sale (earrings, dishcloths, wooden home goods, etc.). Will definitely come back!

Amazing service and great food. I placed an order for my group less than 24 h before the meeting. The food was delivered fresh, tasted great and was delivered on time. The price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend Café Pain Voyageur for coffee pastry, lunch etc. The place is so cozy and everyone is very friendly. One of the best bakeries and coffee shops in Sherbrooke!

Great discovery in Sherbrooke! The prepared dishes are very comforting with their freshness and lightness. I find that the salads offered at the Café Pain Voyageur are extraordinary. It was very comforting to taste. On the other hand, the prices are rather high for what it is, I believe that you can find equally good alternatives for more reasonable prices.
