Linh is simply overpriced! $140 for two bland and tasteless Tonkinese soups, two lemongrass skewers and two shrimp fritters! Everything lacked flavor but frankly, the Tonkinese soups were mediocre: flavorless broth, tough and not very generous meats. The price in Montreal for this indoor meal: around $90 according to my recent experiences. And for this price, the flavors are there! So, Linh is a restaurant to avoid and run away from!

The food showed up warm, and the order was correct.The portions were quite small. Noticeably (surprisingly) small. We had ordered two curries and a chow mein, for two people, and we both had to make sandwiches after because we hadn't eaten enough. Maybe 5-6 spoonfulls per mains. We were a little surprised for the price, it wasn't a cheap (but not overly expensive either) meal. The flavour was also fairly bland. We ended up having to season a fair bit. However, the spice level was right on point. Just perfect.Overall, we are unlikely to go back. We wouldn't avoid it if dining with friends who like it, but we are able to get our curry and chow mein fill elsewhere, with a better experience.
