It is with great disappointment that I write this review… the only Haitian restaurant in Sherbrooke and frankly it is NOT edible. I had a beef tassot with sticky rice. Beef is like rubber that is impossible to chew and drips NOTHING. THE
Sticky rice is overcooked and doesn't drip anything too! The only thing I could eat was
Mini salad and bananas… but really disgusting, I’m so sad… $25 in the trash.

Everything is really dirty and greasy! Not to mention the smell... of dry products. The microwave seems to be the main tool. Cooking lifts the heart.
Service is minimal, no greetings, employee seems uninteresting. Really very expensive unnecessarily.

I ordered a "mode pâté" with a Buy one get one free promotion.. they only sent 1, I asked for it to be with herring and sausage.. I only found herring.. This is the second time this has happened and no one answers the phone.
Anyhow, I asked for 4 servings of sticky rice, pikliz and plantain with sauce, he charged me $70 and it would have been $72 with griot. In addition, the plantains were mushy, pikliz was dry.
Really, it was the 1st and last time!

Haitian cuisine is my favorite.
What I received, it's a lack of respect in a dish, very disappointed

Very curious to discover this cuisine, unfortunately, a very big disappointment and dismay considering the price paid. Previous comments do not differ from the experience we just had. Everything is dry, overcooked in oil and without any flavor. What a desappointment !

Unfortunately the food was much better in their early days. That's two orders that I made and that I regret. The meat contains only fat and is very dry. Pieces of bones, without meat, were in our dish. Rice and plantains are flavorless and dry too. Food does not look fresh. I wonder what this change is related to in terms of taste and quality? In short, I will no longer recommend.

In summary: unsanitary, disgusting dining room, lousy food (literally outdated) and mediocre service. Here is the experience:When we arrived, there was a boy of about 12 years old who was eating chicken wings with his hands. He was clearly the son/little brother of the staff. (Important for later)There was no one at the counter to receive us. After a few moments, a waiter arrived from the back kitchen without haste. No greetings from him. We had to ask to see the menu. He pointed it at us while remaining distant and disinterested. We had to insist for details of the dishes available (our first time) and the man seemed uninterested in helping us. We ended up ordering goat cheese with sour juice: $42 with tip (they don't charge taxes) for a single plate and a glass of juice (smaller than the average size at McDonald's).As soon as we paid, the waiter told the 12 year old boy to go to the kitchen. The waiter simply left. He left the restaurant through the main door. It was the boy who prepared the food. I don't think he washed his hands... We saw the rice on our plate coming out of a plastic dish where it had clearly been put as leftovers and reheated in the microwave. The goat meat was dry. There were bones in it. The coleslaw had to be at least 4-5 days old. The soursop juice tasted the same as the smell of human semen. (It should be noted that the juice is homemade. It does not come in a can)Anyway, having paid, we left our plate untouched on the table and left. I wouldn't be surprised if they served our plate to the next customers. Please avoid this restaurant for your wallet and your health.Sincerely,- Pu your customer
