The reception was very cold, the waitress put pressure on us to place our order, because she told us that there was another service after us.
Our 2 starters were cold.
At the end of our meal we waited 20 minutes to get our bill...
Despite the free desserts the damage was done!!!!
And we won't be back for a long, long time
Really disappointing Valentine's Day dinner

I came to St-Valatin to enjoy a little evening between lovers, but it ultimately ended badly. In this bring your own wine restaurant, when we arrived, they brought us a used boiler taken from the other table next door to put our wine in and never offered to serve the wine.. very ordinary especially despite the fact that I had chosen this restaurant because I liked the service in Bromont. Subsequently, after ordering the most expensive main course with two starters, we enjoyed the evening. We received the soup with a presentation that left much to be desired and the taste which was correct, but on this point, I admit that it was my point of view. Afterwards, we received the starter and tasted it, and the salmon was ok, but the shrimp..... it was disgusting, I love seafood, but these shrimp really left it wanting. I would rather eat pollock from the grocery store than that. After this inconvenience, I politely asked to pay for what we had consumed as we were not satisfied and they said they would see what they could do. Afterwards, and I'm really not exaggerating on this point, I saw two employees come out of the kitchen and look towards us with judgment and every time I met their eyes they looked elsewhere. This lasted until the waiter brought our bill for $45 for 4 dishes under $10. I'll let you do the math... I didn't want to argue because I was already embarrassed enough that employees were judging me. On that note, if you are VIP customers there, surely they serve you better and have more class, but otherwise, I do not recommend.

We couldn't wait to try this restaurant! Maybe I'm waiting too much?
We had very good service, nothing to say about that in terms of food, it was a little bad I took a shellfish bisque the taste of the bisque was good, but I didn't like the small shrimps, hardly any cooked and the mini scallops!
Tasting trio, it was good. The only scallop was good. The mushroom chips, ordinary, and the fondue, parmesan, tiny.
We took the filet mignon, supposedly three, but it had tirasses and the cooking was incorrect for both, the potatoes were dry, very dry and the vegetables were tough, I almost broke my partial and it wasn't very hot!
There were 4 of us and the other two chose veal flank steak which they didn't like and the other mussels with blue cheese which was good except for the frozen fries lol and yes frozen.
The desserts were good but tiny maple syrup tart, the waffle was good quality and tasty!
The service was very good!
Clean toilets etc…
If I ever try it again, I definitely won't take meat!
I don't think it was worth $180 especially since we brought our own wine!
The cooks look very young, and I wonder if they have enough experience to cook the meat?

Everything was excellent, and the waitress was super patient with us, even though there were only 3 of us in the restaurant. She gave us time to chat and finish quietly. It was great, thank you!

Even on the busiest of nights the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and quick. Every time I've been here the food has been delicious with good portion sizes. The menu has nothing but great choices, but the lobster bisque stands out, so I'd recommend starting with that. They don't serve alcohol but you are encouraged to bring your own wine, and have an assortment of mocktails and alcohol free beers. They are quite often busy, so reservations are a good idea, but very much worth it. I make a point of coming here every time I'm in Sherbrooke, with friends/family or without, and I recommend you do too.
