Extremely disappointed with the return of the restaurant manager! As a regular customer, I expected at least a commercial gesture from her!

Context of food allergy… Celiac disease!

When ordering, I take the trouble to advise that the club sandwich bread must be gluten-free (as normal, she never eats it) and given the allergy and not the intolerance for my child of 8 years. I was never told when ordering or serving that the bread was toasted in the same toaster as the one containing gluten (cross-contamination therefore absolutely prohibited). What's more, when served, the Caesar salad contained gluten croutons! When I asked to make the salad again without the croutons, the manager came to tell me that the bread was contaminated by the toaster. How come this information was not initially transmitted when ordering? It seems to me that it is a minimum to serve and inform the customer well! That being said, I at least expected the plate to be offered by the manager! After discussion with the waitress, nothing happened! They made me pay for the plate we couldn’t eat! Absolutely deplorable!

The kitchen is correct, faithful to eggquis, this restaurant charges for changes example: an expert special, if you only ask for bacon they charge 2 changes (normally bacon, sausage, ham)

Ok...same as almost all lunches in town. I had a waffle. There was more fruit than the desired food product 😅 otherwise...3/5 very basic as a restaurant. And the service...2/5 :(

*** Saturday 10/19 *** I owe an apology to the owner and staff as never had an issue with this restaurant … when I made my review it was for another chain and. It Eggsquis!

I have since change my review and again apologize

I am normally a big fan of this restaurant, but today was very ordinary

I placed my order for a fruit, pancake, one glass of water and one Glass of cranberry juice waitress came back with my glass of water came back with my crêpe, but forgot my cranberry. I had to ask her for it.

While I ordered, I also said please bring me one or two extra napkins

She forgot this also, when she came back to check in 30 minutes later, I had taken the napkins from a nearby table myself

While I told her this very politely, she said oh sorry it’s my first day back from vacation. I showed her a photo of the banana that was questionable and she shrugged it off.

Honestly, not dramatic but very, very disappointing

We went to dinner there.
The dinner menu is really perfect, however I had a problem with the chicken fingers...very cold and dry and I never usually complain. I asked the waitress and she came back 2 minutes later asking me to give her the old chicken fingers because the kitchen needs proof, which seems fair to me. She brings us more chicken fingers, these are really hot but even drier than the last ones. In the end, I don't eat them.
My wife had the salmon and it was very good.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any discount or little 10% as an apology or anything, which I find a bit inappropriate, but hey... everyone has their own way of running their business.
Just maybe pay attention to the customer experience, especially since I didn't eat the food. It would have been nice to feel listened to or sympathized by making me pay for what I actually consumed.
