As usual, I had a wonderful evening out at l'Empreinte! The food was, of course, absolutely delicious, as were the drink pairings. And, as is always the case here, the service was excellent. Benoit delights with his warmth and knowledge of the food and drink that is served. Merci!
Place wasn't busy...There was only 2 table of 2 but probably because it's a weekday,and it was Thursday to be exact.
The menu is either you get the 7 or 5 tasting menu with wine accompaniments of full or half accord.We chose to get the seven.The first one was a charcuterie with sapin.Nothing special and the sapin was too strong.It completely killed the plate.We gave a benefit of the doubt for the next plates but until the last plate of dessert, nothing stands...

The food was excellent and presented beautifully. It took a long time to get our first two course..2 hours. I like a leisurely dinner but that was pretty slow. The server brought us the same two courses twice... Be prepared to take your time. 5 courses took 4 hours.
