If you are looking for a typically Greek restaurant this is not the place. The salad was not a Greek salad but a spring salad, the potatoes were not Greek potatoes but potato chips, the rice was a cheap white rice with yellow powdered chicken base, the meat was OK, the service not very welcoming and the prices too expensive for the average quality.

Le Grec is a must-see restaurant in Sherbrooke. Generous plates and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the pikilia starter and the Poseidon shrimp

It was our first time here and we heard good reviews about this place. The food was quite good and the portions were decent, but we found the prices high compared to other similar places.
I generally like to give fair reviews, but what I noticed the most was that we had a rather cold reception upon arrival and during our stay, as if we were not welcome there ??
So even if it was good, I probably wouldn't go back.
and we were also charged $5.00 for an extra plate which was totally ridiculous.

Good luck to people with allergies. Personally, I have celiac disease, when I called to make a reservation, I mentioned my allergy and that I was going to have a plate of shrimp (a standard that I know I can eat). On the phone, they tell me that there is no problem, that everything is fine (cooking method, the cook who makes my dish, etc.). Arriving there, a completely different matter! Finally, I can't eat the shrimp plate because it contains gluten (the shrimp + the accompaniments), I ask them if I can have it with the lemon butter (which is an extra $2.50). Well, no, because it's still garlic shrimp, but with extra lemon butter on the side. So, I decided to eat a completely different dish, with only salad as an accompaniment.

In addition, they serve salad before the meal, I didn't have any, and in my meal I had 1 portion of salad, but without rice, without potatoes (given my allergy)... I had to ask for having my portion of salad as a "starter".... really disappointed for the allergies. I would have liked to know that it was complicated like that ordered, I would probably have booked elsewhere and it would have been much better in terms of quality/price/portion! Really disappointed.
