Was pleasantly surprised and now I'm a huge fan of lunch specials. For a fantastic price, you get appetizer, main course, dessert and drink. Unbeatable. Service is super friendly. For under $20 and you are totally stuffed these days is hard to beat. It's quiet and clean in here, cause it's mostly an older clientele but perhaps they know something we don't. Lol. They are older, wiser and on fixed income afterall. But aren't we all on a budget these days. Great value. I'll be back cause I like to support the independents that try to make real food. Cheers!

This year, I went back to taste other dishes offered by this restaurant. Their taste is better compared to the meal I had at their place a few years ago.
*** Rating: 1 star (2022) It was my first time at Stratos Pizzeria on 12th Avenue North. Looks like this would also be my last visit to a Stratos Pizzeria. I had fries and chicken breast. The fries were good but the sauce that came with them was totally mushy and gave no taste to the fries once in your mouth. Nothing like what I'm normally used to at my favorite restaurant. Why did I opt for chicken breast? The chicken was totally tasteless in your mouth. Almost as if there was no marinade before frying it. I really regretted having wasted almost $20 on such heavy food.
Not to mention the incredibly long waiting time. And I was going to tip for such inadequate service. I'm now glad I didn't.

The Bang Bang chicken poutine is AMAZING. Best poutine hands down.
I'm giving 1 star, because seriously, the price for the big poutine with merguez sausages and pepper sauce, horribly expensive!!! We're talking about $35 tax included!!! Compare Johnny Restaurant, for the same format, we'll get a maximum of $25 for a fully dressed one, same thing for all the other places that melt poutine!! It's completely out of competition for the price! The poutine is good, but not enough to pay $35. This is my reason why I no longer buy this poutine at this place.
Response to owner: It’s not quibbling for the sake of quibbling, it’s a fact! Your poutine costs $35, that makes no sense! Go and see the other restaurants, you will perhaps understand my disappointment. Nowadays, everything is expensive, so yes, quibbling about the price is legitimate. You are definitely not competitive on the price of your poutine which is downright excessive. And you are ridiculous for answering me like that.
