Cabaret Les Années Folles

Nous avons adoré! Nous étions dans un shower de bébé organisé par 2 de nos petites-filles et nous étions environ 40 personnes ! La nourriture était excellente, le service extrêmement bien rodé dans une ambiance conviviale ! Le personnel était parfait, souriant et à l’écoute de la clientèle! Nous avons bien aimé notre première visite et y retournons sûrement!

To begin with, a person asked us when we arrived if it was for dinner or the show. We only wanted dinner so we took the dinner only option.
Back at the table our waitress asks the same thing.. we repeat that we only want dinner...
No problem...

In the end, they didn't manage the meal time before the show well! Our meal was brought to us 10 minutes before the start of the show (we had been there for 1h30! It took 40 minutes between the starter and the main meal so it's really bad management on their part and not our fault to us!)
As we were overwhelmed at the start of the show because we were eating (I repeat that we had just received the plate!), they wanted to make us pay for the show against our wishes!
WE SAID TWICE FROM THE START THAT WE JUST WANTED Supper!
We were not responsible for the poor time management of employees to serve us and we did not have to have something imposed on us that we did not want and which was very clear from the start!
In the end, we left you our dessert in a box (and yes, I say garoched with the photo! I can't believe it) so that we could leave as quickly as possible! Wow! First time I've experienced this in 40 years!
For me it's over! It cost me $117 alone for crappy service!

Customer service is VERY important to me and I had a very bad evening and so did the other people with me! The employees were also very rude when we left! It was completely unprofessional!
I won't be going there again and I wouldn't suggest this place either!

You shouldn't play on good customer service! It was a very unpleasant evening!
I hope the bosses will have a little discussion with their employees on November 15, 2024!

This is the only place in Sorel with the most professional sound system and an atmosphere worthy of a 5-star cabaret

Moi je suis allé voir Keven Parent et c'était un chanteur que j'aimais plus ou moins mais il a fait une performance extraordinaire et ça changé ma façon de le voir et Pascalin a même pris le temps de nous jaser. La cuisine était super moi je suis sans gluten et il y'a de bon choix pour moi tout le monde ont aimé leur assiette. L'ambiance était super! Je le recommande

A unique place. The cuisine is truly fabulous. We were a group of 60 people and all the meal choices were very good. The show was fantastic. A very good group from the United States. A beautiful place to discover. I would definitely go back.

Great evening for my birthday! Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute dinner show package. Impeccable service with Jimmy. The owner takes the time to come talk and thank people table by table. The cuisine is excellent. The memorable show! In short, a perfect evening! Thanks to the whole cabaret team, the Roaring Twenties, we will see each other again.

received a gift certificate to come try les années folles in Sorel on my way to Charlevoix. was with a 90 year old person. first thing told when I arrive and ask for an elevator or about reduced mobility option is i should told them in advance the person had issues with mobility. Climb up to the second floor patio and the view is gorgeous. the food is very tasty and copious. I pull out my gift card and tell the waitress I will use it to pay later. she looks busy; i put the card back into my wallet. we eat. we ask to pay: the two waitress tell me this is problematic and i should have told them about the card and the restricted choices I had to make. I offer to pay the significant difference and the waitress comes back with a resolute attitude that such gift cards are always a problem. Which is not MY problem. To buy peace and stop the arguing in public I decide to pay for all expenses, and inform the personnel although their food was good, the client service deserves Management’s attention. I come to Sorel to visit family every month; I will never come back here again. A loss for the local economy.
