Comptoir Shoji

Had an amazing experience at Comptoir Shoji! My wife and I really enjoyed the sushi. You can tell it's made with care—everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. A wonderful spot, we'll definitely be back!

I just had the chirasi don. The various fish and seafood were very clearly fresh and well prepared. The sauces and mayo they use pop, are full of flavor, and emphasize the other ingrediants without over empowering them. I truly appreciated my meal!

Freshest most delicious Poke Salad ever! Highly recommended

Ordered delivery through Doordash. Prep was fast and presentation was nice, but...

I ordered 2 salmon nigiri (syake) and received 1 salmon and 1 other fish.

The karaage was crispy, but was small and lacked flavour.

The kamikaze had no avocado in it. Too much rice in all the rolls.

I had higher expectations, especially since the Shoji on Victoria is great and other reviews were so high. Disappointed.

Came here hoping the vegetarian combo was vegan and it is! Everything was delicious and with excellent presentation. They also have a vegan poke that looked delicious, with vegan salmon. I’ll have to try that next time Highly recommend

I love this place. I go with my dad every couple of weekends. The food and sushi always fresh and best quality. They put a lot of care and attention into presentation. The quality of the food is very consistent meaning every time we've been the food has been flawlessly perfect, I never feel disappointed when I eat there. The dragon rolls are my absolute favorite from them and the karaage chicken poke bowl. Shoji has some of the best sushi that you'll find on all of the South shore in my opinion.

The only suggestion I have for the location is maybe a bit more seating because I have noticed around like lunch when I go with my dad the four tables fill up super quick. But 1000% best sushi on the South shore.

We took it to go but the staff is very friendly and helpful. First time trying this place but it’s a new favourite. The tuna sushi melts in your mouth, well it all does. The curry sauce is really good and you don’t even need to put it on the chicken, it’s so good. In all honesty, I was sceptical about all the positive reviews but after trying it for myself I can see why so many people love it. We’ll be back real soon! I really want to try the poutine and the burrito. For the record, I was very tempted to give this a 5 star review. I’ll leave it at that.

Absolutely amazing !! We had it delivered. It was absolutely wonderful !! We ordered the Party Tray. The variety was splendid. The quality of the fish was beautiful, sauces were lovely, the greenery was awesome !!
