I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35 PM on Wednesday, and when I asked to order, they told me the kitchen closed at 8:30 PM. My daughter was crying, so I promised her we’d come back next week after her gymnastics class. However, when I returned the following week at 8:19 PM, they said the kitchen was closed again. I’m not sure if it was just bad timing or if they were being especially quick to close, but it felt like I wasn’t given a chance. In the end, I decided to take my business elsewhere. However Door is still open with open sign

Normally we go to a similar restaurant in the Toronto area called August 8 which for us, is the best place for all-you-can-eat sushi. In comparison, this place was pretty good. Food seemed fresh and was very quick to arrive to the table. They say the cleanliness of a restaurant's washroom is a reflection of the cleanliness of the kitchen and the washroom in this place was not the cleanest. August 8 also includes many free dessert items including several fancy ice cream flavors whereas this place has hardly any dessert choices and most are charged extra (not a deal breaker as you usually have no room for dessert after eating so many main course dishes lol).

I was invited for my birthday, I found the food delicious, tasty and quality. The service was excellent and the small portions to avoid waste and taste everything are well thought out. The only downside is the price, $42.95 per person, but bringing your own wine makes up for it a little.
