Restaurant des Monts

We went there for Sunday breafast and were not disappointed. I had the Greek omelet and my wife the spinach omelet. Both came with plenty of fried potato wedges and even some yummy onion rings. It was a short wait (10 minutes) to get a table and service was prompt and courteous. The coffee refills just kept coming. Good, basic coffee. Plenty of other interesting stuff on the menu as well. Diner type - I liked it. We decided to get the a meal each for lunch and split a triple fruit mini crepe -on top of it. so delicious. Bananas apples strawberries. So tasty. So light. Wow. Highly recommend that. The waitress seemed a little gruff but it wound up being a language barrier on our side. Totally on us. The food came out quick I was full. They kept coming out to top off water. I would go back

Canadiens must really like meat with breakfast because I must of had at least three different kinds with my eggs. Maybe four. And they were all good. But my favorite part might have been the beans and toast. The bread was incredible. The atmosphere was precisely what I wanted in a local cafe. As a tourist unable to speak French, it slowed me down not a bit. And the food was damn good. I would go back this morning if I could.
