We had an excellent evening at La Chaumière du Village. The food was exquisite and the service was perfect. We were 12 people and we were served at the same time. The wine list offers a nice selection of good wines. it is always a pleasure to eat here.
The owners of the restaurant also own a B&B which me and my partner were staying at. We would urge you to lean into the kitchy pink table clothes and taxidermy, and eat at this restaurant! Very reasonably priced and incredibly delicious. We shared the mushroom puff pastry to start, followed by the lamb rack, and filet mignon. Their nearby accompanying bed and breakfast, Gîte Ancestral, is also a very special classic accommodation with a fantastic breakfast served in a gorgeous greenhouse with an exceptional view of Lac des Sables and the mountains.
