We had a lovely evening as a family but unfortunately the kitchen staff was overwhelmed with the restaurant being at full capacity and they were not able to keep up. We arrived at 7:00pm and fortunately our young nieces dish was served within 30-35 minutes but the rest of us - 6 persons - had to wait another 30 minutes before our dishes arrived. We enjoyed our wine and conversation but after an hour we were getting a bit “Antsy” to be served our food. All the main dishes arrived at the same time and were hot and tasty. We will return this weekend for the food and ambiance and hope the service from the kitchen will have improved!

Drove up from home in Vermont for an anniversary dinner with my wife. Beautiful outdoor seating area and gardens. Food was excellent. We had the fried calamari starter followed by entrees of Lake Ontario whitefish and chanterelle mushrooms and a pasta carbonara. All were excellent. Best part of our meal was our sever who very happily took us through each selection on the menu, which was only in french. She was wonderful and really put our dinning experience over the top.

We go there for nearly every date night we can squeeze in our schedule. The seasonal menu changes monthly and always has enough variety to please any group we go with. Our little kiddo loves trying out new foods there too, I’ve always disliked the concept of carb loaded kids menus and this place is surprisingly accessible for all palettes beyond just pizzas. Also the carbonara is amazing, we HAVE to order it every time.
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but super fun to get kids to be more adventurous, servers were very understanding and the food came in super fast!

This has to be one of the best and most romantic place we have ever eaten. The staff was great, they bring you blankets outside if you are not under a heater. The food was some of the best we have ever eaten. The server was kind and really helpful to choose our dishes even if we could see how busy he was. You can see the chefs love for his craft in his presentation and quality of ingredients!

Cold pizza, very small and disappointing. I make better pizza with my eyes closed.

Charming terrace in a country setting. The service is super friendly. The dishes, however, are a little disappointing.

Crab salad starter good but $28 seems insane to me. $19 for onion soup. The highlight however was the flank steak filled with tiraille, nerves and fat. Sorry but when it takes 10 seconds to cut a piece, 30 seconds to chew it but it's still rolling around in your mouth and there's 75% of the piece left on the plate, that says it all.I'm not a difficult person by the way.Too bad we want to encourage local and not much choice in Sutton but I won't come back. The prices are exorbitant for the quantity.
