Facing the ocean, I just experienced one of the best lunches of my life. The lobster was simply perfect, with flavors so refined and surprising that they felt like a work of art. Sharing this moment with my partner, all the fatigue from traveling vanished in an instant, leaving only pure admiration for the craft of great cuisine.
I usually don’t say much, but today I can’t help myself. If I had to put it in my usual way: “It was as magnificent as a whale in the ocean.”

As a warning- this place is not for everyone. But if you like fully flavored food made in-house, a tremendous liquor selection, a joyous wiseacre server and the hippest customers in town- this is your place. Be prepared for a music-led vibe, a leisurely dinner in a small bar with 7 or 8 inside tables and a great night of camaraderie all around. This is not for tourists who might want a generic experience. This is thoughtful and personnel. The Caesar salad is unbelievable with homemade lardons and plenty of anchovies. The lobster roll is an actual well made salad- not a bunch of cold lobster on a bun. Get the Quebec mule- very light and herbaceous. Great! And if you are in the mood for some dancing later on- they will know where to send you!

Shortly after a whale watching outing, we had the pleasure of eating at this lovely little waterfront Bistro. The food was delicious, the portion sizes stellar and the service, well, what can I say. The service was outstanding. Made the whole experience that much nicer.

Super nice and friendly staff, like super nice [there was a customer I wanted to punch😂 but the waiter was so patient and polite with him😂😂] AMAZING beer, try the sour one if you like sour taste Great food, great ambiance, dog-friendly terrace The ONLY suggestion, imo, would be to put a bit less sauce in the lobster roll so that the lobster meat can be tasted. All in all a great place, definitely recommended 👌

One of the best onion soups I have eaten. The employees and owners are clearly involved and committed to their business and it shows. The food (tuna crudo, salmon tartare) is fresh and tasty, the cocktails are delicious and the atmosphere is great. We go there every time we stay in Tadoussac!
