Small, unpretentious AVV restaurant. Few seats, but it creates an atmosphere and ensures that the restaurant is almost full during service. Lots of take outs. Good and fast service. They serve glasses of water but will not serve wine if you bring a bottle, which is not a deal breaker for this restaurant.
The dishes are truly the best in this restaurant. My partner and I had the table d'hôte and opted for the wonton soup. The soup and roll lived up to my expectations, but nothing more. My partner had the general tao as a main course. He is excellent. Enough crispy, enough sauce. I had the peanut chicken and mushroom with crispy spinach. I had been craving this for a long time and was super satisfied. Our child had the crispy chicken poké bowl. He was also excellent. The pickled vegetables are to die for. We brought his leftover dish for dinner the next day and it was just as good as the day before. I'm going to have to find the recipe for pickled vegetables since I would eat them at every meal because they are so good!
The portions taken with the table d'hôte are just perfect. Not too big.
Prices are reasonable.
I will definitely introduce this little gem to my loved ones!
