Amazing food. I live in Toronto with so many Arabic food options. We stopped here on the way from NS to ON and this was a total surprise. The meat was so tender and flavorful and the salad along with it made it such a wonderful combo. I would wait for my next montreal trip to come back here . People were amazing too we even got a free baklava

Invited friends, hoping to have a good food and feel good.. so there was only 1 server for the whole restaurant and bla bla bla.. reaching the disappointment where I have paid for everybody since we were 4 and ordered the family platter. So 2 days later I was looking for my bill with them coz I felt they were expensive, which they were. To my surprise I noticed on my bill that there was another plate charged... I called my friend and asked if they ordered anything to take out , he Said NO why, then I explained, so he went with a copy of the bill, having seen that, they decided to reimburse.

The food was good, but we found it to be a little expensive for the type of restaurant. The dining room was empty. Given the quality of the food, I believe it is a price issue. In Quebec people are greedy and are willing to pay to eat well, but, to define what they are willing to pay, the atmosphere of the restaurant is as important as the quality of the food.

The pieces of meat are very tough, the rice never tastes good, the garlic and chickpeas are bad the ground thing the chicken pieces very good
The hummus tasted really bad and the chicken seemed like it was reheated. I didn't like the sauces on the meatballs and the chicken.Also the potatoes were very oily.
