A truly disappointing experience at Pizza Pizza. As soon as I arrived, the lady who takes orders and the gentleman who prepares the pizzas spent 10 minutes on the phone talking before even speaking to me, despite my repeated attempts to signal my presence.
There are tables to wait or eat on site, which I chose to do. I ordered a medium pizza and waited 20 minutes with a direct view of the kitchen. What's frustrating is that after those 20 minutes, my pizza was ready and placed on the stove, but the lady didn't even bother to call me to give it to me. I waited another 15 minutes unnecessarily, for a total of 35 minutes.
When I went to see her, she was sitting quietly in the back of the kitchen, talking with the cook. When I pointed out the wait, she replied that my pizza “had just come out”. Wrong, because I had seen her place my order on the stove for quite a while. Result: a cold and very ordinary pizza.
Poor service, complete lack of respect for customers and an attitude that makes the staff seem like they don't want to be there. An experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
