First time at this restaurant and I really liked it! Beautiful atmosphere, the food is excellent as well as the service. Although I felt a little rushed when it came time to pay, we barely had time to look at our bill when the waitress was already entering the amount into her machine, so it wasn't an irritant. I will definitely return to eat at Madiva.

Very bad experience in this restaurant, my partner had a steak of salmon quickly she noticed that it was not cooked at all, uncomfortable the waitress returned the plate to the kitchen..10 minutes later she comes back with the plate..2nd uncooked salmon!!! The manager came to apologize for this 2nd error but unfortunately the damage was done, the dinner was ruined because I waited for my partner to eat my cold pizza and my partner had her appetite ruined by this raw salmon. They only charged us for the drinks but we left very disappointed with this experience.Pizza ok but the dough was not cooked in the centerArranchini seemed pre-made only reheated tasteless

The place itself is well-kept and has a modern interior. Good location with plenty of parking.The service wasn't anything special. Just kind of the bare minimum. No complaints, at all. But don't expect "above and beyond".Now for the food. It was fair, at best. I had the Madiva pizza. The toppings (mozzarella, arugula, shrimp) were delicious. But the dough could use improving. The inner half was drenched in oil and the outer half of the bread was dry. I normally enjoy pizza crust, but this one was hard and crunchy. I probably wouldn't have another pizza.Had the churros for dessert. Still a little on the hard and crunchy side, but more enjoyable with the accompanied chocolate dip and whipped cream.The rest of the party had much better dishes, so I'll probably be back to try something else.
I had an excellent dinner at Mediva. The pasta was delicious, well presented and I was surprised at the quality.The space is intimate and very pleasant. Excellent choice for a romantic dinner.

The food was really good but I must be getting old. I think this place is for a younger crowd. Let's just say that they didn't exactly play dinner music, but at least it wasn't so loud that I had to yell at my dinner partner in order to have a conversation. The food and the service was great and I suspect that the atmosphere is as well if you're in the 20 to 40 range. For older folks, it's worth the trip in the afternoon.
