Tomahawk grill - Thetford

The meat is good. The accompaniments not really. It took 1.5 hours to get our food. The service is adequate, nothing more. In the end I would have been disappointed if the dishes had been $30. At $50 it's absurd. I suggest to those who have a package with the restaurant to go for an aperitif there and eat elsewhere. if you don't have a package just go elsewhere.

Very disappointing as a meal. We were a group of 15! We were the first to arrive (no one in the two restaurants when we arrived). Arrived at 5:30 p.m. We are seated at 5:45 p.m. We received our entries atAround 6:40 p.m. and no meals before 8 p.m. At 7:40 p.m., they explain to us that it's because there is another group (from the pub side, who arrived after us), that we are preparing our dishes now. There are 5 other tables in the Tomahawk grill restaurant, 5-6 on the pub side. We ordered everything. The Tomahawk was bland, cooked too quickly. The soup was too spicy, the filet mignon and Châteaubriant very ordinary. The service was extremely long. Three waitresses for 5 tables in the restaurant. Our water glasses were not filled...with the price of the hotel, the restaurant (for a group of 15, with drinks and bottles of wine), we are very disappointed. We didn't even think about staying for dessert. The only positive point was the waitress, very kind and pleasant, who did her best so that one of the people could eat gluten-free.

An impressive and absolutely delicious brunch!! A real feast of rare quality and variety these days, not to mention the very attentive service. It’s worth the trip from the North Shore of Montreal to Thetford!!

Clearly the most interesting and gourmet brunch in Quebec. Forget Montreal, forget Quebec, it's here in Therford that the gluttony happens. ??

Very disappointed with our experience. Despite a beautiful presentation of the menu, the filet mignon was missing from our dish when it was served to us and the fries were also missing. After 30 minutes without anyone coming to see us, we had to get up to speak to someone to rectify the situation. No one seemed responsible for serving us and when someone did come to us, everyone was blaming each other instead of trying to serve us as one would expect from such a restaurant.On the other hand, the service at lunch and at the Boisé pub is excellent. A transfer of knowledge between these authorities would be beneficial for the Tomahawk restaurant so that it can meet these apprehensions.

Well, have you seen more or less convincing notes on the Tomahawk restaurant? Take this chance because we were not disappointed! The waitress had misunderstood me for my meal and I received my risotto accompanied by my beef cheek... wow it was excellent, one of the best I have eaten! My partner took the tomahawk and he was not disappointed in any way! We received our food in a timely manner and it was hot when it arrived! I did well to have given them a chance in the end :)

there were 14 of us this evening, the restaurant was not busy, our reservation was for 8 p.m. because supposedly it was full for 7 p.m., and the waiter was very nice, nothing to blame him for, but as for the food we were all very disappointed, the soup was too sweet , all our plates were practically cold, value for money we are really disappointed and what can we say about the tomahawk, we came for that but the wait was at least 45 minutes and already we only had the reservation for 8 p.m., the vegetables very cold, the tartares tasteless, overcooked and dry chicken, ultimately our expectations were very high but I want to say it again, we are 14 people disappointed!!!!

The service is good. On the other hand, the ribs seemed to come from the grocery store, the vegetables seemed to come from frozen bags from the grocery store, several items from the menu were missing including the tomahawk (the name of the restaurant by the way). Very disappointed. For $230 without a bottle of wine, I would be embarrassed to be the cook there...the waitress was super nice though.

Lovely hotel fine dining experience. Shrimp was tastefully cooked, sauce lightly-spiced. Were served with complimentary warm bread while waiting.

We went there with our children on December 23 and we loved it. The service was wonderful, the tomahawk was excellent and good advice on wine.

The place is very beautiful! We have. Ordered a tomahawk for 2 and a bris flambée starter. It was not flambé and due to her mistake the waitress never came back despite telling us that she would come back with a solution.The cooking was excellent, the food very good, and plentiful, but for a restaurant in a 4.5 star hotel it seems inappropriate to me that I was invited to pack the rest of my meal myself for a bill that was close to 300 $ for 2 people.It's a few details in the quality of service that cost this establishment a few stars. The staff lacks high level training!
