This is the worst Italian food I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. We went here once before, and the food was fine - good enough for a second try- but this time it made us decide to never go back.
I had the pasta with basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto. The pasta was oddly sweet and the chicken that came with it was ridiculously salty. None of the flavors worked together.
The ambience inside is cute, but it was ruined by the blaring music of what seemed to be a 90s hit playlist. So odd for an Italian themed interior. To top it off, our water came in plastic promotional beer glasses. Not what you would expect when each entrée is about $30.
The servers seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people. They were nice enough, but there were just not enough servers to go around to give service. My plastic water glass was empty halfway through and I never got any more water.
If you think of going to this restaurant, go right up to it, turn around 180° and go to LePot. The food and a better there.

Service and pleasant atmosphere but the pasta lacked flavor, large plate that tastes nothing 😓 4 people out of 3 in my table who were disappointed, the photo and the Chicken Carbonara.
The mojito was also far from the right recipe.

-A pot of alcohol filled with ice for $19??? -As soon as we arrived, the waitress rushed to come for our orders without asking us if we were ready -I inform you that I am allergic to shrimp, she comes back to see me to tell me that they only have a tray of oil for all types of fried foods so it is problematic for the onion. This has never been a problem mentioned before??? -All of a sudden, she comes back to see us and informs us that the signature of the restaurant has entered; onion belle angeline (ordered by 3 people) is not available again??? -I've been going to Angeline's since I was 6 years old. I celebrated my 30th birthday yesterday. One Sunday evening, the restaurant was empty, we felt like we were disturbing the waitress. We had to ask for forks, knives, water pitchers, and napkins.
*For a total bill of around $700, with the type of restaurant chosen, we expected a much more complete experience worthy of the brand*

Our first return in 5 due to COVID. The restaurant has lost none of its atmosphere. The place is still beautiful. The food is so good, impeccable service with the beautiful Valérie who has been there for 24 years and whom I was surprised to see again. We will definitely return without waiting another 5 years.
