Casse-Croûte Courteau PDL

April 6, 2025: 5:45 p.m.: Pizza not cooked, the dough was stretching in the middle because it was not cooked. The grated cheese was still in its grated form, not melted at all. Even my 6 year old daughter, before we noticed our pizza, told us that her poutine was cold... first and last time we go there.

There are always errors in the order. Bad poutine sauce, missing pogos, burnt hamburger, cheese on the side in all poutines.

I have to edit the review after my last experience.
Updated: the proprietary contacted me wanting to know more about what's happened.
He offered me my original order for free, whenever I wanted.
I used and the poutine was delicious.
So everything is good 😊.

First review:
I ordered "poutine" around 4 p.m. and, after arriving home, I took care of the kids and began eating. Unfortunately, I noticed that the fries were burned. I called the restaurant to politely clarify the situation, and they offered me either a medium fries or $10 (though I had ordered and paid for a large). I suggested returning the fries, and they agreed to replace them.

When I arrived at the restaurant, the manager was called to speak with me in front of other customers. She mentioned that I must have eaten the fries a while ago, which is why they weren’t in good condition. I found that explanation confusing. I also expressed that I felt somewhat uncomfortable with the situation, as I believe the staff should have the authority to resolve these matters directly.

I was left feeling a bit embarrassed and disappointed, as the burned fries were clearly not my fault. After a brief discussion with the manager on the phone, she kindly offered to replace my order.

While I appreciate the offer, the entire experience left me feeling unsettled. I’m uncertain if I will return in the future.

Not the first time I'm going to eat there but definitely the last time.... I find old paper coupons for a medium pizza, large fries and two cans of Pepsi. I call 6:15 p.m. and the girl was having trouble taking my order. I arrive at 6:35 p.m. and the girl takes my coupon and she comes to make me pay and tells me wait (but I had already put the card in to pay) and I see her tell her colleagues that my coupon is not in cardboard like the others in addition to not having Courteau written on it and a customer was there with that woman. Basically the cashier suspected me of having a fake coupon without saying it clearly. I explain to her that I have an old coupon that doesn't have a date on it and that the first coupons were from when Courteau opened at PDL and she tells me to let it happen because otherwise she wouldn't have let me pay , but basically she didn't want me to pay at the beginning??? I told her that I can take the original paper because she acted as if I was making a fake bill. She told me not necessary but all the employees on the floor looked at me funny....WOW what professional service ? plus he hadn't even started my pizza and the guy had to ask for my order again to make it and there was no one in the restaurant and outside except a customer with this woman and I received my order at 7 p.m. and they only had 3 customers while I was there with mini orders and there were 4 employees on the floor ? all the time I was waiting the employees just stuck their heads out of the little wall to look at me and when I looked at them they went back to the other side. I showed the photo of the original paper before leaving because I asked my wife to send it to me and despite that she told me that it was correct but she literally suspected me of making a fake ticket. I I even suggested that we call the owners to show them the ticket and said no need...

Now Courteau is finished for me.

I advise people who still have old paper Courteau notes not to go there because you will be suspected of having made a fake note.

Small quantity poutine sauce and regular fries, the cheese is stuffed into bread. However fried pickles were delicious

I loved my poutine, perfect fries, fresh cheese and very good sauce. I really like the style of the restaurant and it is well located, close to the h2o park. The only small problem is that I think it's a bit too cold. Overall, I loved my experience and would recommend this snack without hesitation.

Burning burger bun, burning Michigan hot dog bun, very bitter and acidic spaghetti sauce with also a burnt taste, fries not fresh as if they had been recooked!

We ask the staff what the yass chicken is and not a cat knew it! 4 people in the kitchen didn't know their menu! Beautiful gang of champions! First and last time here for the quality of the food, the red pinion is 100x better

Personally I think there wasn't enough sauce in the poutine. That said, the chicken wings were very good.

Very large variety on the menu, especially regarding the many varieties of poutines available. Promotions often available, which is always appreciated. Friendly staff

Twice I ordered 2 barrels and got no sauce! Really really ordinary! Plus we asked for extra sauce and the person said there were already 4 in the bags... my eye and really thank you for my ruined birthday dinner! Last time for me at your place
