The steak was absolutely horrible it was over cooked, these chefs have a hidden talent I hope they just keep it hidden
We were welcomed despite not having a reservation. We sat at the bar where we were served by a very personable and attentive young waitress. The food was for the most part excellent. We had steaks that were perfectly cooked. The wine list is excellent.
We stopped here for lunch on our way from Montreal to Quebec City. The restaurant as a nice outdoor seating area in the summer and the street is closed to traffic, so it's fairly quiet. The food was good, but nothing to scream about. There is a note of pretense in their menu and the decor that is undeserved. The waitstaff was very good and super-attentive.
We dined late lunch. Servers were very considerate, no problem, some very good mains were enjoyed and ice cream. We were on a journey so the quality and promptness were appreciated
Service was so-so, but the steak and accompanying side dishes were par for the course. The carpaccio entrée was excellent, fried squid also, the rib steak for my companion was perfectly grilled, while the Moules and Frites main course hovered near Paris bistro standards. A satisfying first pandemic meal out. Reassuringly, no one in the restaurant coughed throughout. A bit pricy but hey, we were on vacation and ready to splurge.
First of all everything I tried was 5 star plus! The peppercorn steak was rich in flavor and the salmon was covered in an incredible teriyaki style but even better sauce, so tender. The pecan pie is by far the BEST pescan pie I’ve ever eaten in my life! And I travel the word for a living!

No room for improvement.... we make requests and we don't even get a return call.
OK thanks
