We used to love Kinipi.On the other hand, since Covid, it’s very different.The prices for the spa have exploded, I had a gift card for a free entry and since the prices have almost doubled, I had to pay the difference. We had booked for the evening baths, but on the site only 4 p.m. was indicated so we paid the day price even if we went to the restaurant before, so the baths only from 6:30 p.m. When we called to get information on the arrival time we were told that we ABSOLUTELY had to arrive between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. even if it was impossible for us because we are more than an hour away. I had also written online and the other person told us that there was no problem arriving after 5 p.m., the two people contradicted each other =(The clerks at the reception counters laughed at the customers in secret, but in full view of others.The back net had tension. Went for 3 meals (2 evenings, 1 lunchtime) during my accommodation at Kinipi. Super good restaurant. Slightly expensive for what is offered but still excellent.I have or try almost their entire menu for 2. The dishes range from "average" to great/excellent. No better/perfect play but it's getting close.As a starter, their homemade game charcuterie is excellent. Their tartare is good. Their soup is good and their smoked trout is excellent.For main plants, their ribeye is ok but lacks flavor on its own. With the grass-fed butter and extra cheese, it becomes great. I'm a fan of ribeye and I was pleasantly surprised. Their fish is all good but the Algonquin is the best. Their Seafood Pate is very unique and good, great for lemon/lime fans. The wild boar burger is ok. The other dishes are good too.The deserts are ordinary but goodBeautiful imported wine list.Overall, it exceeded my expectations.
