Disappointment this evening… delivery… sushi ok nothing more.
No wasabi, apparently you have to ask for it. No wand.

I ordered two crazy makis, a squid starter and raw salmon sashimi.

The maki were very ordinary rolled up "loose" they all fell apart when you picked them up. They were all with slices of cucumbers inside, no originality...

Many makis were thin as the thickness of a finger.

They put my raw salmon sashimi with the squid which is hot from the fryer...?!?!

The 3 slices of Sashimi were a real joke, thin as a sheet of paper. Never seen this and I eat it at every sushi restaurant that offers it.

The calamari quantity was good but a little disappointed that they changed their recipe but they were still good.

In short, besides the squid it was a BIG disappointment and stomach ache to boot.

Do yourself a favor... Order elsewhere!!!

I have ordered once a month for years from this restaurant and I am generally satisfied. This evening they gave me cooked sushi (shrimp) instead of having tuna or salmon in it. I called to exchange them and they refused. They bullshid me about it, telling me that it's really just a coincidence, when we don't specify which one we want, they give us one of the 3. I've always had the ones with raw fish, at least 25 orders right now. The probability of obtaining the "ready-made" product one time in 25 was (2/3)^25 = 0.004%... Stop taking customers for fools! It's Mother's Day and you've done too much of this, that seems a more likely explanation to me. I call it bad customer service.

I love their sushi, you can't go wrong with the quality normally. Place to avoid during Valentine's Day events, the sushi is smaller than usual, I find this practice very questionable, this is the 2nd time I've been caught, it's the last.

I ordered on DoorDash at 4:30 p.m. to receive it around 6:00 p.m.… at 5:45 p.m. the order was canceled for no reason. I recommended it right away, we received the food at 8:30 p.m.Edit: We called when we ordered, we were told the app doesn't give the actual delivery time, you are scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

The quality and flavor of the sushi is no longer what it used to be: sushi not rolled tightly enough, cut into 9-10 mm slices, ingredients like salmon that tastes borderline, red peppers marinated in vinegar. ..this is no longer the taste experience that Sushi Taxi du Cap used to offer.I decided to write this review following 4 disappointing purchases over a period of 8 months.
