Malheureusement, la gestion du Baril Roulant à fait preuve de comportement vraiment décevant. J'ai fait une réservation (avec dépôt 100% remboursable à 7 jours du séjour ) à leur auberge au mois de mars pour un séjour au mois d'août. Nous avons dû annuler notre réservation un mois avant la date du séjour. En essayant d'annuler, j'ai appris que l'auberge avait été vendu à un autre propriétaire mais que les propriétaires du Baril Roulant avaient gardés tout les dépôts lors de la vente. C'est donc eux qui devaient procéder au remboursement. J'ai tenter de communiquer avec eux par téléphone, courriel et Messenger sans réponse. J'ai finalement eu une réplique qu'ils allaient me revenir rapidement quelques semaines passés mais rien depuis et ils ont ignorés mes suivis. Le montant n'est pas astronomique mais garder une somme d'argent sans fournir un service et aller à l'encontre de son obligation contractuel - pas fort pour un commerce, surtout dans un village touristique comme Val David. En revanche, le nouveau propriétaires de l'auberge, MacTaverne Auberge et Pub, a fait preuve d'excellente communication, de professionnalisme et de respect dans cet affaire.

Craig, Tim and Mike were amazing hosts. This is both a beautiful place to stay and a lovely restaurant and bar, all rolled into one. We were treated like family and had the best dinner and breakfast imaginable. You can feel the love these owners have for the beautiful village, for food and for hospitality. DON'T miss the opportunity to stay and/or dine here! We will return.

We entered and no welcome. Tables without customers were not served. We waited 10 minutes and no service. Even standing in front of the bar, the guy didn't care about us. We left and will not return.

The service was extremely slow. I even had to wait to pay my bill. We waited for about 5mins before the waitress came to greet us and told us that we could sit anywhere. Then a super long wait to order. The order came rather fast mind you and after all the waiting before, I was expecting a super long time before our food arrived.
We had Nacho's. They were good. Nothing special.
