The food was very good, we were looking for a vegan restaurant and stumbled upon this place and even though it’s not pure vegan they had lots of vegan options! I really loved the service and everything else we are planning to visit back soon!
I wish the General Cafe were in my neighborhood. It has such a good vibe and is clearly a star of the local community. We went twice; the first morning there was already a line at the door when they opened at 8 am and people were joking with the staff that the door wasn’t unlocked the second it turned 8:00! People clearly love this place, and with good reason.

I got the MEC vegan sandwich with potatoes. Can't rave enough about this sandwich. It was everything I wanted and more! Their vegan options also had a generous portion of protein, almost like they know how to make a nutritionally balanced meal!
