Now that our 20 day trip to Quebec (one third in Montreal, one third in Quebec city and one third in cycling in the Laurentines) is behind, it is a good time to reflect on the restaurants we ate in. Having tried to choose the best restaurants (not too fine dining though) we found good food in most restaurants. Except for Station B none could keep the good level through the three of four course dinners though - in Station B the two of us shared six plates of savoury dishes and two desserts: all of them beautifully composed and tastes so well designed/ balanced. When also the service was kind, friendly and attentive, no wonder that I find Station B as one of my best restaurant experiences ever (I have eaten almost five thousand times in restaurants...) - all this in humble looking and very affordable restaurant of a tiny village...

Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Reasonable prices. We come every year to celebrate our anniversary and are wowed every single time.

The dishes are creative and so delicious and they are presented like works of art.

Don’t miss out on dessert. It’s phenomenal too!

The food is good but the portion sizes are tiny for what you are paying. We ordered 2 tapas each they recommend 3 for normal appetite and we were all still very hungry so we opted to go get burgers elsewhere to forgo a crazy tab. we felt that we would have needed at least 2 more tapas each to feel satiated and couldn’t justify it given the cost and small portions

Microscopic plates!!! The food is excellent, however, after 3 courses each we were still very, very hungry. As the bill was already around $380, we decided to finish the meal at home.

This is the first negative restaurant review I have made. Had the fish soup which was terrible and my husband had a beet salad dish which was okay but too salty. The only white wines they had by the glass were a Chardonnay and a blended wine. I ordered the blended wine which was very mediocre. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our second tapa till finally we cancelled the order. The two small unsatisfactory tapas plus one glass of wine and one beer cost over $70.00.
We ran across the street and bought a turkey sub at the metro.
