Now that our 20 day trip to Quebec (one third in Montreal, one third in Quebec city and one third in cycling in the Laurentines) is behind, it is a good time to reflect on the restaurants we ate in. Having tried to choose the best restaurants (not too fine dining though) we found good food in most restaurants. Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Reasonable prices. We come every year to celebrate our anniversary and are wowed every single time.

The food is good but the portion sizes are tiny for what you are paying. We ordered 2 tapas each they recommend 3 for normal appetite and we were all still very hungry so we opted to go get burgers elsewhere to forgo a crazy tab. we felt that we would have needed at least 2 more tapas each to feel satiated and couldn’t justify it given the cost and small portions
