As far as pub food is concerned it was ok (nothing special, just average). What was surprising (and not in a good way) is the fact that they still have not evolved to this century: only cash is accepted. Not to mention that you have one waitress for alcohol and a different one for food so you end-up paying two bills. Don't get me wrong they were both friendly but I don't remember the last time I had to pay cash.
Everything is perfect, it's the restaurant-bar par excellence until you have to pay. completely ridiculous: count your pennies because the food and drinks are on 2 separate bills and it's cash only. If it wasn't for that, we'd be here as a gang of guys every week.
I had heard this was the best pizza in the Outaouais, so I had to try it—and it did not disappoint! The pizza was amazing and clearly homemade. The crust was light with just the right amount of crisp, the sauce was flavorful, the toppings were fresh, and the cheese was high quality. Every bite was pure enjoyment. Is it the best? Absolutely—no other pizza compares!
