On travaille pour Malartic. On arrive là, wow, c’est beau c’est propre. Le service fût bien sans plus. Bref, commande un 7" steak.Aille, on est chez Mikes, ça va être mémorable.Heuu non. Mon 7" avait 5" de garniture. J’ai laissé 1" de vide de chaque bord. Les frites étaient blanches pas assez cuites.C’est parce que c’est pas donné Mikes.Mon expérience Mikes m’a fait rejeté Mikes. Mon 5" de steakette Mikes a 20$ m’a fait découvrir que pour le quart du prix, mieux vaut le faire savoureusement maison. C’est ok de payer cher. C’est crosseur quand la marchandise n’est pas livrée. Charge 20$ du 7", ben fait un 7" bien bourré.

This was a very convenient restaurant with a very friendly staff. I liked the fact that it was full with people who lived in the area. I am not sure if this reflects more on me, just didn't find a lot of food choices for people who don't eat meat and don't like fried food. So the food quality wasn't as good as I was hoping. The beer was great! I think the dessert looked imaginative, but we didn't have time. For reference, I opted for chicken parm, my husband had pasta and chicken Alfredo. I would go back for dessert sometime!

I came twice in the same week with my family. The first time was incredible. I ordered a pasta dish (some kind of penne carbonara thing) The server (whose name I forgot, I'm sorry) was very funny, accommodating and great. I wish I knew his name to shout him out here. Incredible energy, care and service.The second time I came, I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and I was dissatisfied. The chicken tasted cold - like it was freezer chicken or something, some of the lettuce was a bit rotten, there was hardly any sauce and there was no cheese on it. My sister whispered to me that I had to ask for cheese myself but doesn't a chicken ceaser salad usually come with that? I never ordered a chicken ceaser salad that did not come with cheese. I did not say anything - I admit that I was a bit salty.Other than that, our server was nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was a bit loud due to some type of party happening at the table behind us but that is expected because we are in a public setting.Kid-friendliness: They give kids a table setting that has the kids menu on it with a portion for them to do activities and colour. They also provide crayons. It keeps them busy while the adults babble amongst themselves. :)
The food was not bad except for the tiny, hard, square bun that comes with the pasta which was horrible. I think they really should change that. The quality of the food at Mikes including the subs has diminished. It isn't as it once was. The best subs are no longer available. Steak, steak and more steak sub is not on the menu anymore and the meatball sub isn't either. Sad, because they were really great subs.Parking: Was a free parking on other side of the street which was practical.
