La Belle Patate is a solid option for a casse croute. I ordered combo #2 which consisted of two steamed dogs and a small poutine and a beverage. It was all very good, quite similar to LBP. Total cost before a tip was about $16.50 Stopped in after learning that the nearby Frites à Brigitte does not accept credit cards. Was happy I did!

best hot dogs, submarine burger and what can I say about poutine and fries its the same as in the old days and I'm really difficult with the fat and the oil and the places are dirty and there's one thing I can say because these are what I note the most of the restaurants and their oil for the fries it seems that they never use it is always clean and clear in my opinion there are little OOMPA LOOMPAS to hide in cabinets which change the oil every hour lolll

I sat down at the end of the evening to order a terrible poutine...the fries were already very old, not fresh at all, were practically hard and tasted like dirty, old oil. No hygiene and sanitation procedures within this establishment. Staff do not wear gloves, everything is cooked in the same oil/grill without washing or changing with notice. Very unpleasant employee towards his other colleagues creating discomfort during service. I got food poisoning afterwards. First and last experience within this establishment.

He’s passionate and puts on a bit of a show while creating your perfect submarine. It’s refreshing to see how everyone there loves their job and how they greet you when you walk in.The breakfast is a must as well, likely the best price in and around town and dont expect a tiny serving, be hungry or you’ll have to take the rest home.
Extremely ignorant, wanted to charge me $1.50 for a bottle of water and refused to give it to me from the fountain. Asked for the food to go… did not leave any napkins or forks in the bag… furthermore the food did not taste remotely fresh. McDonald’s across the road would have been a better option by far.
