Excellent evening. Our party sampled many of the different appetizers and entrée. All were excellent. The service is the best I've had in years. No rushing and extremely friendly. Menu changes every couple of months so we will be returning. And it's a BYOW!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. Dominique our server was exceptional and despite the chef being out for a personal reason the sous-chefs did a superb job. I have never had tastier melt in your mouth scallops and my husband’s steak was also exemplary. What an exceptional way to spend our 22nd year anniversary! We will definitely return. The menu changes every two months and looking forward to their Wednesday night tapas night.

My wife and I enjoyed the amazing duck special and filet mignon with our bottle of wine. Excellent service but a little loud in the dining area. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our evening at Le Charleville, where we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere on the terrasse was lively as every table was full. Four stars only because it was a bit noisy and our table shook any time someone walked by.
The food was melt-in-your-mouth perfect - and that’s not just the sorbet!! I had the bison tataki, thin slices of buttery seared bison on a bed of arugula with a mix of flavors and textures for dressing. Hubby had the beef gnocchi, which he found to be excellent. Second course was a strawberry sorbet with gin - tasty and refreshing! Main course I chose the Mussels Marinière with fries. The broth was rich and briny with a hint of garlic. The fries were cooked to perfection, a light crisp on the outside and sweetly tender on the inside, and lightly seasoned. My husband had the lamb chops, which he described as “some of the best he’s ever had”. We finished with dessert (of course). My salted caramel creme brûlée was an interesting variation, with the salt balancing the sweetness of the rich custard. Hubby had the blueberry cheesecake which was also excellent. The “bring your own wine” feature allows you to keep the bill within reason. Service was fantastic as the duo covering the tables outside worked very well together. Service was prompt, friendly, and the food arrived hot! As someone food intolerances (gluten and lactose) I was in good hands as there are many GF options on the menu and the sous-chef came out to discuss my menu choices to make sure all would be ok. All in all, an excellent evening.

Always great food and courteous, friendly service. Valerie is excellent as a waitress! However, we didn’t have her this time and it was not as polished but still good.

Favorite restaurant by far. Food is always amazing. The staff is the best. Really good prices. And it’s a bring your own wine. You have to come try it out. You’ll be coming back for sure!

A little disappointed. Filet mignon under cooked and the risotto had a strange flavor. Service was a bit slow until the end of our meal when we felt that they were rushing us out to seat more people.
We had a similar experience last summer. Only 2 servers is not enough for the amount of guests.
We will not be back.

While I would not consider us foodies we do really enjoy a good, well constructed and executed meal. Le Charleville delivers!
With a menu that changes based on what is in season you are guaranteed to enjoy delicious fresh food. The four course meal is 100% worth the price and the trip. We sat on the terrace and while it was raining outside we were covered and toasty warm within the bounds of the covered space.
Very excited to have found an excellent date night option so close to home. Looking forward to our next visit!

Food was not served properly, very cold!
Server brought the wrong plate to one of our guesses, and she did not want to admit they had made a mistake! Finally did after about 5 minutes of arguing!! Did not offer any compensation at the end!!
One of the servers was not really well dressed, leggings are not a proper attire for a restaurant of this supposed quality.
Staff was very loud (making lots of noise) cleaning the dishes and putting them away! Sometimes had difficulty hearing the discussions in our small group.
Do not ask for the ceiling fans to be turned on, these must not have been dusted or cleaned in years, this was obvious just looking at the black dust on them.
Overall, a very disappointing evening, not worth the $$ spent, will definitely not go back another time!

Another amazing meal by chef Stéphane! We were eager to try out the new November-December menu, and we weren’t disappointed. I had the salmon tartare, duo of deer and duck breast, and crème brûlée. Hubby had the beef baluchon, lamb risotto, and poached pear feuilleté. All of it excellent, served in the most cordial way, at a perfect pace, for another wonderful evening. We love that we can bring our own wine too! This is a real gem.
