I walked in at 6:45pm on a Sunday for dinner for 2. For privacy, I wanted a booth. The restaurant was 1/4 full. They refused a booth because they said it was for 4 people or more. They said they were expecting lots of people because it was Ramadan. I explained that we won’t be more than an hour, but the manager refused. I was rather insulted as my money was not welcome because we were only 2! I guess I’m not an important enough patron to be served during Ramadan. I felt discriminated against. Other groups could have easily been given a table, which could easily have been extended for 4 or more people. Why the preference?I cannot recommend this establishment as their customer service and management are left to be desired. I did not feel welcome. Nor will I ever return!We did not stay. We walked out to look for a more welcoming restaurant Baton Rouge :)

We go there often and order takeout as well. The food is always on point except ine dish that they seem to miss each time. The Nihari is extremly oily, not sure why. If you have never tasted Indian and Pakistani cuisines, come to this restaurant. You can always taste delicious butter chicken, this is a special offer of Royal Tandoori Grill. You will have good memories of this place because it is known for having good food, the owners are friendly and courteous. Dishes are generous and delicious at a reasonable price. The only downside, although the owners are very nice and the service is only in English.Buffet on weekends.
