Absolute great experience, sushis are amazing, big variety and very nice ambiance. I would definitely come here again.
Excellent
Great food
Wanted to try the new place in town. Ordered General Tao and was extremely disappointed. No vegetables in the dish, none! No Bell peppers, no hot peppers, no onions and and no sauce, no flavor! Was just orange battered chicken balls and a small portion of bland white rice. Very disappointed and will NOT go back.
Came here for a 22nd birthday celebration with my two children, my fiancé and my mom. The food was delicious no complaints there. However… our bills together came up to around 140$..my fiancé left a 5$ tip. We know it’s customary to leave 10-15% and even sometimes 18% tip. It was just not in the budget this time.
Tell me why the server decided to bring it up as if it was an obligation to tip. Said that since we were a group of 6 (1.my fiancé 2.my mom 3. Myself 4. My baby that’s not even 1 year old and 5. My 3 year old that only had french fries…unless my kindergarden math is wayyy off that makes 5 people and 3 that actually paid) we had to tip or otherwise next time they won’t be able to serve us… we’ve never seen something like that, we’ve never been talked to like that..I can’t wonder if we got that treatment because we’re an interracial couple, because my mom and I are Mexican or if they just believe that tipping is mandatory.
Very disappointed, will not be coming back any time soon. Horrible shameful service. I wouldn’t have expected that from people nowadays. Truly a lack of respect and of politeness. It’s not something you bring up to customers. Hopefully that server or worker will be reprimanded and will not make another family feel that upset during a time of celebration or any other time.
They’re definitely not following the new law…I hope that they will by the deadline.
100 % love this place
Its ok. Prices are reasonable. The place needs a Little fixer upper. The food is Alright but not Much choice
This 5 star is for the politeness and great service we got from Sydney.
I come to this place most often and it was the only time I’ve had a good service.
Most of the time, it’s a bit late service (opening the bottle of wine and taking the order).
Beware false advertising , my order of sashimi was half octopus. In case you did not know, sashimi is fish. This was on very busy Saturday night when I picked up, the restaurant was packed and for sure running low on fish by this point . Don’t give your money to a business that doesn’t prioritize your actual order. Everything else was disappointing and much more expensive than other sushi places
My boyfriend and I visited Sushi Hinata for Valentine’s Day, having had a good experience a few months prior. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment due to poor organization and service.
We had a reservation for 7:00 PM, but the restaurant was so packed that it barely seemed like they had space for us. We were squeezed between two other couples with almost no room to move, making the experience feel more like a group seating than a date. The ordering system, done through a QR code and app, didn’t update properly all night, leaving us in the dark about our orders.
Service started off okay, but it quickly fell apart. Orders took excessively long, and many never arrived at all. We noticed multiple instances of staff delivering food to the wrong tables and asking guests if a dish belonged to them instead of having clear instructions. By the time we were placing our third order, items from our first order—placed over an hour prior—were just starting to arrive. Given their policy of charging for uneaten food, you’d expect a more reliable system to avoid people unknowingly overordering.
To make matters worse, all non-water drinks were sold out before 8 PM, and while we had a pitcher of water at our table, it was never refilled, and getting a server’s attention was nearly impossible. The lack of coordination was obvious, with long wait times, missing dishes, and an overwhelmed staff. Nearby tables were equally frustrated, with some even arguing with servers about their incomplete orders before being told their two-hour limit was up.
On top of that, the bathrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, adding to the overall disorganization of the night. I understand that Valentine’s Day is a busy occasion, but that’s exactly why preparation, staffing, and proper coordination are crucial. This restaurant was clearly overbooked and not equipped to handle the volume, making for an overall frustrating experience.
The food itself tasted good, and I appreciate the gesture of giving roses to the ladies, but unfortunately, it didn’t make up for the chaotic service. I feel bad for anyone who was excited to introduce this place to a partner and ended up with this mess instead. Hopefully, they improve their management for future high-traffic nights.

This place is good!
Good tasting sushi restaurant. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
We arrived 14:40 Sunday there and they said they are closed for lunch !!!!!!!! Reopening at 16:00 !
Excellent fresh sushi and meals.
Food was fairly bland unfortunately so I wouldn’t go back. I had high hopes for an AYCE in the area but it missed the mark. Excellent service, super fast, on the ball- but that’s about it. The curtains next to our table were dirty and so was the floor which suggests the kitchen probably isn’t very clean either. Sad about this.
