First time coming here and it was a really good experience. The ambience is really nice, and the music is nice too. Would love to hear maybe Asian songs to go with it. Staffs are very approachable and really helpful. Good price for good food, maybe need some food presentation improvements. We loved the effort made by the staff for my husband's birthday. Would definitely go back here again and would recommend to others.

Sushi weighing stuffing with rice, rice still hot in the nigiri. It's disgusting, I won't go back

As much as you want: Too much rice, fish not fresh, hot rice in sushi??? Worst sushi place is better to go to Pointe Claire at Matsuno, the detour is worth it....

Good service but says nothing that I know, the food is good in general but some little thing is not very good and the most annoying thing he asks for tips and sometimes I understand that these pockets don't have 20% of tips but it not everyone is able to give a lot of tips I'm going out on a date and we're tight on money and he looks at us to make us feel bad

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Sushi Hinata. The food was okay except the ramen. I was shocked when the staff demanded a tip, which should always be optional and based on the quality of service received. This made the whole experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I expected better from a restaurant of this caliber and hope they reconsider their approach to customer service. I won't be returning anytime soon

Great place for sushi, not cheap but food is great. It's easy to order with a QR code. Service is very friendly. A must for sushi ?.

Great food, (mostly) great people! Love the all-you-can-eat at an affordable price. We came twice: once in the evening, once for lunch. The evening service was amazing! Very friendly hostess, fast delivery of our items and great team.

Our lunch service though… I would have given 4 stars, but the hostess was more than unpleasant, rude and genuinely unhelpful.

I think Hinata should make it clear that the lunch service ends at 14:30 first instead of the advertised 15:00. It’s apparently been a while since staff has been informed of this change, but not their advertisement neither online nor on paper at their restaurant location -
ESPECIALLY when the employee that has to explain this to new customers has no manners whatsoever. « Do you seriously not even understand? » in suchhhh an entitled tone.

It’s embarrassing that such a nice restaurant be represented by someone’s bratty attitude at the desk.

Oh and, what’s this « restaurant policy » of asking customers about their choice of tip? When the service is mediocre, the tip only reflects it. Again, same hostess. You’ll be disappointed to know that she couldn’t even look me in the eyes as she insulted me, leaving the store. Something about « Oh and by the way your attitude-
« Excuse me? »
And then nothing.

I have better things to do. Please talk to your staff. I’ll be happy to change my review.

Everything was good! Great taste and presentation. I love the vegetables tempura, sooo good! The only thing is they forgot the sticks!

In a time where customer service is often lost or non existant, hanita definitely stands out. Yasmin who was our hostess was amazing. We came in at 2:15 pm and had only 15 mins left to order the lunch menu AYCE. She didn’t rush us and told us to take our time but we managed to order with 1 min left! She made sure that we took our time to eat and always ensured we were ok at our table. She was very patient and you can see she cared about the customers. I would definitely go back just because of how they treat customers and thank you for taking care of us!
