I live in Lévis, more than an hour from Victoriaville, and Jardin du Samouraï has been my favorite restaurant for over 20 years! I almost always get the teriyaki chicken with shrimp, but I've also tried the steak and scallops. Everything is top quality and really delicious!
We start with the soup, which is exquisitely simple; Then comes the salad, drizzled with an absolutely succulent sauce (so much so that I keep the rest of my bowl to water my rice!). Then it’s the chicken, shrimp, rice and vegetables, all cooked on a plate and seasoned expertly! I can't get enough of eating this tasty Japanese cuisine!
Those who want a spectacle at the large tables are satisfied, while private tables or lounges await customers more desirous of calm.
The atmosphere is friendly, with the always smiling chef-owner who welcomes us as if we were family.
I was there again last night (05-24-2024), and I had a blast!

My new favorite restaurant! Everything was good; the food, the ambiance and the service. Perfect for a birthday or a dinner with friends. Going to this restaurant gave me the impression of having taken a trip to Japan. Almost everything is cooked in front of you on a plate. Small special mention of the shrimp which was succulent and the hakutsuru sake which was delicious. Thank you very much for this excellent evening.
