I really want to like this place. But a history of 'meh' service at the cash. That 'I don't care about your business' vibe. Great cup of coffee, but I decided to try pizza slices to go. Server didn't even try to close the, granted, flimsy triangle pizza holder. I did it myself, juggling my coffee, book, and phone, and the server said 'yeah, they don't close well'. Well, it closed for me, and it was left to me. Lousy to-go containers is on management, but fend for yourself, I won't offer to tape it or bag it, is a front of house problem. Should I get my pizza at Klimat up the road?

Husband and I were visiting from a ways away, and got a croissant and a bag of coffee for home. The croissant was great! But we asked to have the coffee beans ground for an espresso machine which is all we have at home and it was not ground for an espresso machine (see photo). Disappointed that we can't enjoy it

Fantastic coffee. Really good pizza and pastries. Quite a good brunch too. Lining up to order at peak times and waiting for your coffee order at the counter can take a while, but food is delivered to your table. It gets busy but in the warmer months the very nice patio doubles the seating space. This is a very solid spot and one of your best bets in Wakefield.

Out of nowhere the best pizza in the region — levelled up the game significantly. 🏆
It’s gonna ruin every other place you go afterwards, I think the only one I know that challenges it it’s Counterpie in Niagara.

This café is truly a hidden gem! I loved the warm, rustic atmosphere and the friendly staff. Everything about it feels special and inviting. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a cozy and charming spot.
