I really want to like this place. But a history of 'meh' service at the cash. That 'I don't care about your business' vibe. Great cup of coffee, but I decided to try pizza slices to go. Server didn't even try to close the, granted, flimsy triangle pizza holder. I did it myself, juggling my coffee, book, and phone, and the server said 'yeah, they don't close well'. Well, it closed for me, and it was left to me. Lousy to-go containers...
Fantastic coffee. Really good pizza and pastries. Quite a good brunch too. Lining up to order at peak times and waiting for your coffee order at the counter can take a while, but food is delivered to your table. It gets busy but in the warmer months the very nice patio doubles the seating space. This is a very solid spot and one of your best bets in Wakefield.
Out of nowhere the best pizza in the region — levelled up the game significantly. 🏆
