I went for their Friday Jazz event and it was definitely worth it. The food was equally satifying. The roasted lamb with cous-cous was so yummy - I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite big for one person. The lamb was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. It was perfectly cooked and the flavor was very unique. I also had one of their delicious handmade special eastern cakes - yum yum.

Great food, friendly service, beautiful surroundings, and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

On Wednesday the 12th, 4 of us went for "brunch".It was one of the guests' birthday.The birthday girl had a Caesar salad the size a child could eat,one of us wanted waffles with no fruits and bacon.She got her waffles with bananas and a few blueberries. The bacon came a few minutes later on the burned side.The other guest had the soup of the day which was supposed to be like a stew.Nothing like a stew and a few croutons to add to it.I had the beet and goat cheese salad that consisted of a bowl of sliced pickle beets and 3 raisins and a bit of crumbled goat cheese,that's it!! No lettuce of anyone else!What a disappointing experience!!!
My 7 year old grandson can create the same standard meal!
We will NOT be going back even though we are locals.

The food was incredibly delicious and beautiful, the atmosphere was cozy & warm and the waiter was very friendly. Our kids loved the waffles and we enjoyed the traditional breakfast and the best avocado toast ever!!

Kid-friendliness: The dining area is large and we chose to sit out by the windows as we wanted the view and had our 4 children with us, but we would have been fine in by the fireplace as well.

Food and staff are always great. The cafe is only feet from the river and the view is beautiful. Lots of parking available. Make sure to ask for Patrik at the front counter, his bilingual skills are world class.

It is the most welcoming cafe that can exist in the world, jazz Fridays make me feel like I am in a movie. I love that it is pet friendly, I love Hershey, he is the best dog I have ever met. The food is delicious, in the display case I don't know what to choose, I want it all. The staff is very friendly and attentive and I like the variety of music that fits the atmosphere of the place. I feel included and warm. A safe and loving, exquisite place with good palate experiences with traditional food.

Chill atmosphere nice place to relax, eat and have a drink. Had the hummus and and sea bass was phenomenal. Would recommend if you like a unique cafe.

I met up with my friend at Cafe Earl for Sunday afternoon lunch. I had excellent fish and chips, coleslaw all freshly made
Sitting on a comfy leather sofa in front of a gorgeous wood burning fireplace. Great coffee with a complimentary refill. Very chill and inviting atmosphere with friendly guests. I will definitely return. Love the rustic vibe that feels far from Ottawa but only about 25 minutes! Beautiful paintings on the walls as well!

Used to enjoy the atmosphere especially coming here and playing piano, but unfortunately clients can no longer play the pianos onsite. I will likely not be returning as without this bonus, better coffee and food are available elsewhere in the village.
