The tasty food here is dazzling to the palate! I had their homemade soup and slowly cooked braised beef short rib dish and a Crème brûlée custard dessert! Oh my! How do you howl in French, lol!?So good!

We had our wedding reception (12 people) at the Village House in Wakefield. Sarah was very responsive and was very helpful with preparations leading up to the event. The canapés, appetizers, and desserts were absolutely delicious. The main meal wasn't quite as good as when we had it before on a date night to taste the food, but that was our fault because 11/12 people ordered the same main in our party lol! Overall we were very happy with the food, restaurant ambiance (brick wall made for super nice photos, perfect music), the service, and communication with Sarah. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be returning :) Thank you Sarah and the rest of the Village House staff!!

always a pleasure to take a drive to Wakefield for a great dinner at the village house. Village house did not disappoint again. It was top notch. It felt like we were part of a family.

This little bistro has exceptional food. We just sampled the appetizers, and they all were exquisite. The grilled tuna was succulent with a hot pesto, the Terrine was rich with a jelly, dijon mustard, homemade crackers and pickled vegetables. The ricotta ravioli was topped with a jumbo grilled scallop, and pork belly. I will be back!

The Village House is a fantastic little french bistro. We have eaten here many times over the past few years and it never dissapoints! The beef short rib is absolutely unreal and the service is always attentive and friendly. A solid go-to choice anytime we are visiting Wakefield

Had a divine dinner here in their quaint outside covered patio with heat lamp. It was a beautiful night and so romantic. And the food oh my gosh and the service, all outstanding. My husband had the beef short ribs and I had the polenta with eggplant and zucchini. For dessert we had the chocolate ganache. Tres Magnifique!!!!

This restaurant is a gem in the region. Every dish on the menu is extraordinary. They use the freshest local produce, and the service is friendly and impeccable. A special treat every time!Vegetarian options: There was a very tempting vegetarian option on the menu. I ended up with fish, but I hesitated for this eggplant dish.Parking: There are several parking spots just by the restaurant and for the clients.
