I was surprised to learn that this establishment refuses to provide customers with tap water. In Québec, all restaurants are required under the Règlement sur les aliments and the Règlement sur la qualité de l’eau potable to have a source of potable (safe, clean drinking) water for food preparation, dishwashing, and hygiene.
If a restaurant cannot or will not serve a simple glass of tap water, it raises a serious question: can they actually guarantee that the water they use to wash dishes and prepare food is potable and meets public health standards?
It’s disappointing to see a business cut corners on something as basic and essential as clean drinking water. Customers deserve better transparency and compliance with public health laws.
Good selection. Cozy and beautiful place. Delicious ice cream.
Always a great experience. That walk along the river with MaBoule ice creame is always a great pleasure. Cappuccino in my choice.
Wakefield MaBoule is a wonderful spot to stop for a treat while spending the day in Wakefield. The staff are great, friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. There’s a wide assortment of flavours to choose from, so everyone can find something they like.
It’s especially a great stop for kids, with plenty of fun options and a relaxed atmosphere. The ice cream is delicious and hits the spot on a warm day.
Delicious ice creams and coones. Highly recommend trying the dips!
2 medium bowls ( 2 scoops in total) one waffle cone ( 2 scoops) $38?! The peanut butter ice cream was very freezer burnt and was grainy. Unreal the price that was charged. I understand that the prices are high for a seasonal shop but cmon.
Once you're done having dinner down the street, stop by this place for some ice cream. Kids loved it. Huge seating area outside the building with a relaxing atmosphere right across the water. The two girls working there were very pleasant and super polite. I'll hit up the ice cream spot again for sure!
The customer service was subpar. We were practically rushed out when we were the only customers in the store. We ordered two large cups of ice cream and they were both different in terms of ice cream proportions.
Pretty location tho.
Chocolate swirl with a salty Carmel dip. Yummy
Slow service
Expensive ice cream

Hard or soft ice cream available, tried vanilla soft serve dipped in reeces chocolate was very good, service was fast and cone was dipped perfectly. Great experience, area to sit outside overlooking lake.
While visiting the Mont Morissette Regional Park, we had the opportunity to stop over at this ice cream shop on our way back drive. Facing the beautiful lake view, this shop has a beautiful outdoor seating area where customer’s can sit and enjoy the ice-cream as well as the view. Due to the end of the summer season, they were out of mist if their flavours but whatever they had was great.

What an amazing ice-cream spot in Wakefield, ontario. After walking through the town to see all the sites, an amazing cone was well deserved. We both got a Waffle cone with peanut butter, pretzel and chocolate. Topped with cinnamon bun. To absolutely die for.

1 soft ice cream is $8 plus 2 milkshakes for $29 not including tips.
I think we were paying for the location and the view.
Ice cream dip coating dark chocolate was way too sweet and not hard enough.
Milk shake was way too sweet as well. Coffee flavour tasted nothing like coffee but caramel.
But outdoor grass seating areas are nice with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs.
