I recently tried a black tea bubble tea with milk and black sugar, but the experience unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. As for the tapioca pearls, they were unfortunately hard and lacked sweetness, which made the experience less enjoyable. Normally, these pearls are well cooked in a sweet syrup which gives a beautiful texture and exquisite flavor.
Overall, I was disappointed by this bubble tea, especially for a product that I expected to be rich and indulgent and especially for the price of $7.99. There are definitely improvements to be made to the texture and flavor of the pearls as well as the flavor intensity of the drink itself.
